Happy with the developments in Gujarat, Gujaratis expressed their joy and pride for being part of the state.

Ravji Sojitra, 68, a resident of Vastrapur said, "I have spent all my life in Gujarat. It feels really nice to be a part of the state and the road ahead is full of glory."

Nigam Dave, 48, a teacher and resident of Vastrapur said it is a matter of pride for him to be part of Gujarat. "There is no place like Gujarat. We even asked out daughter and son-in-law who were living abroad to settle here," Dave said.

Bhavin Oza, 31, who works with an MNC said she has been to many places but none comes close to Gujarat.

"Gujarat has seen all-round development and I wish to be re-born as a Gujarati," Oza

said. Jigisha Dave, 22, a student of M G Science said she was proud of the fact that her state is one of the safest places in the country.
