Shani MantraShani Mantra, Shanidham 2010: Shani Chalisa Pooja on Shani Jayanti, Shanidham on 12 June 2010 Lord Shani Dev, who domainated the Kumbha rashi (Aquaries) is one of the Navagraha (nine astrological planets) which are the nine most important extraterrestrial beings in Hindu religon astrology, or Indian Jyoti?a.


Lord Shani Dev is personified in the planet Saturn in our galaxy milky way.


Lord Shani Dev is the Lord of Saturday; the word Shani also symbolize the seventh day or Saturday in all most all Indian languages.


The source of the word Shani comes from the subsequent: Shanaye Kramati Sa: i.e. the one graha who moves slowly same like as Saturn planet in our galaxy takes approximately 30 years to rotate around the Sun star.


Lord Shani Dev is also known as Shanaishwar Shani Bhagavan, Shaneesvara, Saneesvara, Shaneesvaran and Shani Deva.

Meaning of Shani Mantra:-


I bow to Lord Shani, who is black in colour and son of Sun and born to Chaya and brother of Yama , who moves very slowly.


Shani Mula Mantra:


Om Sham Shanaiscaryaye Namah."


One can chant these mantra's minimum 7 times a day. But chanting 108 times is more ideal for those troubled by Shani.
