Latest News Update: Nithyananda Arrested, Swami Nithyananda has been arrested at Solan in Himachal Pradesh today.
The swami will be taken to a local court in Solan or Simla for transit remand. and later he will be brought to Karnataka or Tamil Nadu.
A? court in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu had issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against the Godman on April 19th.
Nithyananda was involved in a sleaze tape along with actress Ranjitha.
The alleged video was aired? TV channels. While the actress admitted giving massage to the Swami,? she rejected allegations of having sex with him.
Nithyananda has already resigned from all the posts of his Bidadi Ashram in Karnataka after the issue.
The warrant was issued against following a complaint of advocate K Selvamani, who accused the swami of hurting religious sentiments of people and doing a malicious act by indulging in sex while wearing his sacred saffron attire and rudraksham.
