18 Dead As Blasts Rocked Hyderabad

18 dead as blasts rocked Hyderabad The death toll in truck blast at Hala Naka area of Hyderabad has reached to 18, while around 50 persons have been injured in the incident on Monday. The blast was occurred at a truck at Hala Naka bus stand. A power transformer was also exploded due to the impact of the powerful blast. Several badly mutilated dead bodies witnessed at the place of the blast.





Sindh Home Minister Zulfiqar Mirza at the floor of Sindh Assembly Monday said the blast occurred in a truck carrying LPG cylinders.


Sindh Police chief Salahuddin Babar Khattak has said the truck that exploded at Hala Naka in Hyderabad, was carrying chemical.


The truck carrying 30,000 liters (7,925 gallons) of thinner exploded? after pressure built up in its storage tank, police chief said.


The blast also damaged nearby mosque and other buildings and destroyed several vehicles.
